Jennifer Saunders is Edina Monsoon in my favourite TV comedy sitcom, Absolutely Fabulous.  

Eddie is the flawed and eccentric owner of a London-based fashion PR company.  She is in constant pursuit of her youth but is defeated by her chronic, self destructive behaviour aided by her best friend patsy Stone.  

Eddie is fast to jump on to any trend to achieve enlightenment but no amount Reiki healing, time in an isolation tank or gone baths will be a tonic for the amount of Bollinger champagne and cocaine racing around in her system.  

My portrait is a celebration of  'Absolutely Fabulous'.   Edina Monsoons character is iconic, particularly in gay culture and is symbolic of unwavering friendship, excess and having a bloody good time - The ideal gift for best friends and is perfect for an alternative Mother’s Day present.
