My portrait of Marsha P. Johnson (August 24, 1945 – July 6, 1992), also known as Malcolm Michaels Jr. They were the founding member of the Gay Liberation Front and the Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries. They were a prominent figure in the Stonewall Uprising and was popular on the New York Gay and Art scene, famously posing for Andy Warhol.
